The Little Black Set – Black Obsidian & Freshwater Pearl

Faceted Black Obsidian gives this set its beautiful depth and subtle sparkle. Formed from naturally occurring volcanic glass, Obsidian has been treasured for thousands of years and is traditionally regarded as a powerful stone of protection, grounding and inner strength. Its deep black colour is beautifully enhanced by the faceted finish, catching the light with every movement.

At the centre, a delicate Freshwater Pearl softens the richness of the black Obsidian. Pearls have long symbolised wisdom, purity and new beginnings, bringing a gentle, feminine contrast to the strength and grounding energy traditionally associated with Obsidian.

Organic-shaped nuggets in 24K gold-plated stainless steel add warmth and a contemporary touch. Their softly irregular finish was chosen to contrast with the precise facets of the Obsidian, creating a piece that feels refined without being overly formal.

Both the necklace and bracelet are individually handcrafted using premium 49-strand satin gold jewellery wire for a beautifully flexible and durable finish. The necklace features delicate 4mm faceted Obsidian, while the bracelet uses slightly finer 3mm beads. Both pieces are finished with extender chains, allowing the fit to be adjusted to suit you.
